Night Riding Lessons

Can’t find the time during the day for horse fun?
We are now offering evening lessons from 6 to 9 PM in our new lighted, insulated indoor riding ring.

What’s a typical lesson like? Every lesson starts with safely catching your horse and leading it to the barn. The rider then has 15 minutes to groom and tack their horse, and meet the instructor in the riding ring. We recommend the rider to arrive 5-10 minutes early to retrieve their horse. Riders should have a solid 45 minute lesson, ending with cooling their horse and putting it back in the stall for the night.

What if I have to cancel a lesson? Full payment is due the day of your riding lesson. There is no refund to participants who cancel within 24 hours of the lesson. In the event that the instructor must cancel the lesson, a makeup lesson will be scheduled at the convenience of the rider.

What's an Evaluation Ride? Evaluation Rides allow instructors to see the “rider to be” in action. From beginner to professional, the ride will determine what class and level the rider is put into. Beginners, who may need a little extra time to practice the basics, may be asked to take a few weeks of private lessons until they can tack their own horse and walk/trot without any help.
