Sweet Meadow Timothy/Alfalfa Blend Guinea Pig Pellets

Sweet Meadow Guinea pig pellets feature Stabilized Vitamin C. Our pellets are made from timothy grass and alfalfa meal and are designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of adult Guinea Pigs. Combining premium timothy grass and alfalfa hay, our premium timothy/alfalfa pellets are higher in protein for young, growing, pregnant or nursing guinea pigs. Stabilized Vitamin C and other fortified ingredients make this a popular food for guinea pigs. Adult nutritional needs are lower than those of animals in the growth stage of life. Timothy grass hay provides the fiber necessary to maintain intestinal health and makes All Timothy pellets are vet recommended.

Guinea pigs require daily supplementation with Vitamin C. All of our Guinea pig pellets contain a stabilized form of Vitamin C that has a longer shelf life. You can be sure of fresh pellets from Sweet Meadow, as we are continuously producing small batches of all of our pellets.

Always change your Guinea pig’s food gradually to allow the digestive system time to adapt. Some Guinea pigs are resistant to change, so time and patience are needed when switching feeds.

Animals prone to kidney stones, bladder stones or calcium crystals in their urine should always avoid alfalfa; consider our all-timothy guinea pig pellets instead.
