2024 Summer Camp Registration Opens October 18th, 2023 

 
Riding Camp is $1,050 for the week. 
Pets and Ponies is $865 for the week.

Horseback Riding Camp

Horseback Riding Camp is for all horse lovers that want to learn to ride or improve their riding skills. Each day campers will have a riding lesson by our licensed instructors that is tailored to your rider’s skill level on one of our 18+ gentle school horses or ponies. During the lesson they will learn or improve on skills such as; walk, sitting and posting trot, steering maneuvers, mount and dismount correctly, and ground skills. 

The rest of the day will be spent in their group rotating through activities that are designed to teach responsible animal care and handling for our over 100 exotic, barnyard and domestic animals. They will also participate in hands on lesson on topic such as; grooming, bathing, saddle care, daily care of our horses. 

Each week of our camp is a little different and is planned with the campers attending in mind. A couple of the activities that your child could participate in include.

  • Visit the bird room and collect eggs
  • Wake up our pet room animal and feed breakfast with a side of freshwater
  • Create a Gerbil Mania course
  • Ground work with our miniature horses

Summer Fun on the Farm!

  • Weekly Sessions June – August 9:00am – 3:00 pm see dated below.
  • Early drop-off (8:30am) and extended-day (3:00pm – 5:00pm) options available (Fill out Summer Camp Ad-On’s to enroll)

  • Your Child wants to play with animals all summer? Ride horses and learn how to care for their furry friends? Sweet Meadow Farm Summer Camp is the place to be!!

Our Summer 2024 camp has been modified with the Board of Health to meet all of the Massachusetts State guidelines for day-camp. A full list of our procedures can be found on our COVID-19 policy form.

FUN CAMP ADD-ON’S

Painting is a great addition to your Summer Camp Week! For an additional $45 kids can join our two-day painting class. The class includes two, one-hour sessions, all supplies, and a knowledgeable instructor. They will be guided step-by-step to create a beautiful picture to take home and display proudly!

Add Video and Pictures to capture the memories. Your camper will be the star of their own video showing the activities that they participate in at camp. For $75, you will receive a private YouTube link or a USB drive with both the video and still pictures of their week at camp.

Extra lesson to be taken while at camp. This is limited to availability in the riding schedule.

Early morning drop off available from 8:30am – 9:00am for an extra fee of $10 p/day.

Extended day offered from 3:00pm – 5:00pm for an extra fee of $45 p/day.

CAMPERS MUST BRING:

  • Two nut-free, healthy snacks and a bottle of water
  • BRING A LUNCH! LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
  • Campers must be dressed appropriately with soft, stretchable pants/jeans, boots with a heel, rain attire if needed, and a riding helmet. 
  • A Helmet and Riding boots can be rented for the week for $25
  • Before coming to camp, we will need an updated physical/ vaccinations and a signed waiver from each one of our students in order for them to participate in our camp activities. Please email a copy to the office at info@sweetmeadowfarm.com Any camper without all their paperwork will not be able to stay at camp until we receive it in the office.

LATE PICKUP POLICY: For every 1 minute late for pickup, a $1 fee will be charged

Cancellation Policy:

There will be no refunds.

A $25 fee will be charged for switching registration dates.

This summer camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health.
