Pets and Ponies Camp

Summer Camp registration for 2024 will open October 18th!!

Pets and Ponies camp is for your animal love that wants to spend the week meeting our exotic, barnyard and domestic animals. Our campers immerse in all aspects of our animals lives, learning how to care for them, the proper handling, and treating them to enrichment activities such as; taking the bunnies outside for playtime, building the gerbils a maze, and taking the miniature horses for walks.

Campers in Pets and Ponies will get a pony ride, a quick ride that is led by our wonderful staff. This is a great introduction to horseback riding.

Campers will also meet our spring babies, which unusually include baby goats, bunnies, and more!

Each week of our camp is a little different and is planned with the campers attending in mind. A couple of the activities that your child could participate in include.

  • Visit the bird room and collect eggs
  • Wake up our pet room animal and feed breakfast with a side of freshwater
  • Create a Gerbil Mania course
  • Ground work with our miniature horses
  • Learning about gardening and harvesting vegetables

SUMMER FUN ON THE FARM!

  • Weekly Sessions June – August 9:00am – 3:00 pm see dated below.
  • Early drop-off (8:30am) and extended-day (3:00pm – 5:00pm) options available (Fill out Summer Camp Ad-On’s to enroll)

Fun Camp Add-Ons

Painting is a great addition to your Summer Camp Week! For an additional $45 kids can join our two-day painting class. The class includes two, one-hour sessions, all supplies, and a knowledgeable instructor. They will be guided step-by-step to create a beautiful picture to take home and display proudly!

Add Video and Pictures to capture the memories. Your camper will be the star of their own video showing the activities that they participate in at camp. For $95, you will receive a private YouTube link or a USB drive with both the video and still pictures of their week at camp.

Extra lesson to be taken while at camp. This is limited to availability in the riding schedule.

Early morning drop off available from 8:30am – 9:00am for an extra fee of $15 p/day.

Extended day offered from 3:00pm – 5:00pm for an extra fee of $45 p/day.

Our Summer 2024 camp has been modified with the Board of Health to meet all of the Massachusetts State guidelines for day-camp. A full list of our procedures can be found on our COVID-19 policy form.

Register for Camp Add-Ons

Campers must bring:

  • Two nut-free, healthy snacks and a bottle of water
  • BRING A LUNCH! LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
    Campers must be dressed in long pants with closed toed shoes. We will provide helmets for the pony ride.
  • Before coming to camp, we will need an updated physical/ vaccinations and a signed waiver from each one of our students in order for them to participate in our camp activities. Please email a copy to the office at info@sweetmeadowfarm.com Any camper without all their paperwork will not be able to stay at camp until we receive it in the office.

LATE PICKUP POLICY: For every 1 minute late for pickup, a $1 fee will be charged

Cancellation Policy:

There will be no refunds.

A $25 fee will be charged for switching registration dates.

This summer camp complies with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local board of health.
